The 25th Annual Meeting of the European Venous Forum (EVF) is set to take place from 26–28 June 2025 in Krakow, Poland, marking a significant milestone for one of Europe’s leading venous science gatherings. Organised in collaboration with the Polish Society of Phlebology, the meeting will be held at Fabryczna 13, a modern convention centre located near Krakow’s historic Old Town.
This year’s meeting will welcome phlebologists, vascular specialists, dermatologists, interventional radiologists, and other professionals involved in the management of venous and lymphatic disorders. The event is also open to residents and trainees from various specialties with an interest in venous disease.
According to the organisers, the programme will include:
- Original research presentations, selected through a blind abstract review,
- Didactic sessions on key topics such as VTE management, chronic venous disease, and practical phlebology,
- Joint sessions with the European Venous Forum (EVF), American Venous Forum (AVF) and the Latin America Venous Forum.
In addition to scientific sessions, the conference will host industry-led symposia, showcasing the latest advancements in venous technology and treatment.
The meeting offers an important opportunity for international exchange within the phlebology community, aiming to update clinical knowledge and promote collaboration across disciplines.
Krakow’s central location and strong transport links by air, train, and road are expected to facilitate broad international attendance. The organisers have also arranged preferential hotel rates near the venue, with further details available on the official EVF website.
The event is chaired by Professor Tomasz Urbanek, who will serve as President of the 2025 Meeting.
